Once the five-figure boxed set of Halo Reach Series 1 Extended figures hit, it was only a matter of time until the individually-packaged singles of the series debuted at retail–and that time is now! All four figures from Halo 4 Series 1 Wave 2 are now available on Amazon as single-carded action figures: Cortana, a Watcher, a Crawler, and a blue Spartan Soldier.

The only unique figure in this set not available in one or more Halo 4 boxed sets is the blue Spartan Soldier. The mold for this Spartan Soldier figure is identical to that of the orange Spartan Soldier from the 5-Pack and the purple Spartan Soldier from the Target-exclusive Boxed Set 2–just with blue paint instead of purple or orange. If you’re a Halo toy completist or you just dig blue Spartans, well–this Spartan Soldier is the figure to watch for in this set.

In addition to the Spartan Soldier variant, this wave is packed with other great characters. Cortana is the female lead of the Halo video games series and a pivotal character in Halo 4 (and comes with a free Micro Ops Master Chief!), while the Forerunner Watchers and Crawlers both hold tons of army-building potential–and as a result, I don’t mind double (or triple) dipping on them and getting extras from the boxed sets.

I have not heard any reports of these single-packed Halo 4 figures being sighted in regular brick-and-mortar stores like Target or Toys R Us, so it seems that online is the way to go for them thus far.
