It sort of feels like eternity we’ve been waiting for the first series of Halo 4 action figures by McFarlane Toys to arrive, but in reality it’s only been a few months. But it’s finally raining new Halo products, and there are a ton of them!!

After reading scattered reports of Halo 4 sightings throughout the country, I rushed out to my local Targets yesterday. I was able to find almost all of the scheduled McFarlane Toys Halo 4 toys including the Target-exclusive Halo 4 Figure’s Collector’s Pack (containing Master Chief, Grunt Storm, Elite Zealot, and blue Spartan Warrior), the Halo 4 Cryotube with frozen deco Master Chief action figure, the ODST Drop Pod with repainted The Rookie figure, all of the Series 1 Halo Micro Ops vehicle and figure sets, and even the blind-bagged Halo XBox Avatars figures.

With this, almost all of the fall McFarlane Toys Halo figures and accessories have been released. We’re still waiting on the single-carded Halo Series 1 figures, but the only unique figure in that series not contained in the Target Collector’s Pack is the red Spartan Warrior. In addition, Halo Universe Series 1 hasn’t shown its face yet, and that action figure series includes the first-ever Spartan Frederic-104 figure as well as Romeo, the last member of the ODST squad to be captured in action figure form by McFarlane Toys.

The ODST Drop Pod Deluxe Boxed Set is absolutely gigantic. Even after seeing photos of the set, I wasn’t prepared for just how enormous it was until it was staring me down face-to-face in the aisle at my local Target. The large goodness of that set comes with a large price-tag too, though: $44.99, which is going to be a tough sell to a lot of consumers.
