In a bit of sad news today, Diamond Select Toys confirmed the cancellation of the Halo Minimates line today in the Art Asylum Blog. According to DST Chuck, all of the solicited Halo Minimates toys (including Series 5, which was shown at C2E2 2012) will probably be released. Diamond Select Toys says they “don’t expect” to make any more Halo Minimates after Series 5, although a re-visit it possible down the road.

In addition, it was confirmed that unfortunately we will not be getting the Miranda Keyes figure mentioned in the solicitation set for the Halo Series 5 Boxed set, but instead the yellow Spartan shown at C2E2 and in photos. It would have been the first action figure of Miranda Keyes released by any company.
