I usually don’t bother to report on transient things like sales, but online retailer BA Toys is currently having one of the best Halo Mega Bloks sales in recent memory. Included in this sale are Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Elephant 96942 , Covenant Phantom 96941, and Covenant Revenant 96982. What makes this sale such a big deal? Crazy discounts!

The Elephant is priced at just $67, which is the second-lowest price I’ve ever seen for the gargantuan 1,282 piece set! [The cheapest I ever remember seeing the Halo Mega Bloks Elephant was for $60 as a pre-Christmas sale at Target in 2011, FYI.] The UNSC Elephant is one of the older Halo Mega Bloks sets and is starting to be phased out at some retail chains, so this is a great chance to get it for just around a nickel per piece!

The other major sets currently on sale are the Covenant Phantom and Covenant Revenant. I paid $90+tax for my Phantom at Target a little over a year ago and felt like it was well worth every penny. For the $58 it’s on sale for right now, I’m trying hard to resist the urge to pick up another one. Not only is it the largest Halo Mega Bloks Covenant set ever released, but it’s the only mass-released set to include the incredible Mega Bloks Arbiter figure! Similarly, the Revenant set includes a very-desirable Elite Ultra Mega Bloks figure and the awesome blue bubble shield, and is a super deal for its sale price of $23.

Perhaps the most enticing part of this sale is that shipping is totally FREE despite the Elephant and Phantom being two of the absolute largest and most expensive Halo Mega Bloks sets that MEGA Brands has released.
