It’s the most wonderful time of the year for spectacular sales and colossal discounts, and just in time for Black Friday 2012, even more Halo Mega Bloks sets just released this fall have been heavily discounted! Earlier this month I posted about the Mega Bloks Halo UNSC Sabre & Gantry Countdown set being marked down for $100 to $71, and now two more new-release sets are joining it as holiday shopping season starts to swing into full effect!

I reviewed the UNSC Rhino 67019 earlier this week, and my biggest beef with it was the hefty ~$85 price tag. Well, for the time being, that price doesn’t need to be a deterrent anymore. The Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Rhino tank set is available as of writing for the deeply-cut price of just $55.97 with no tax and free shipping, which is nearly $30 off the regular price. That’s by far the best deal I’ve seen the Rhino available for, especially since Toys R Us was trying to sell it for a crazy $141.99 just two months ago. At $56, the Rhino set is a whole lot more appetizing, and I wish I’d held out and gotten it at that price-point myself!

Meanwhile, the Covenant Seraph’s sales must be disappointing to MEGA Brands, because it’s being cleared out again. A few months ago Target stores clearanced the Covenant Seraph set despite having only had it in stock for about a month, and now it’s been marked-down online as well. I’m a little bit disappointed to see that the Seraph was such a slow seller, as I was totally enamored with it and raved all about it over the summer. The Halo Mega Bloks Covenant Seraph 97015 set is presently available for $41.99 shipped, and while that’s not quite as much off as the Rhino, it’s still a pretty impressive deal.

I would assume that sales this good won’t last on sets this new, so if you want to get the Rhino or Seraph at a super price, you might want to act fast.
