ThreeA Toys Halo Reach Carter Sixth Scale Figure HALF PRICE Sale!

UPDATE 12/14/2013: Unbelievably, the ThreeA Toys Halo Reach Carter 1/6 figure is now on sale for over 50% Off. No, really–half price. I couldn’t believe it. I sincerely doubt this figure is ever going to get any cheaper (or last long at this price), so if you want the most awesome Carter figure ever made, now’s the time! I don’t even like the character of Carter, but I’ve now finally got this figure on its way to me.

ORIGINAL STORY: Looking to give (or ask for) a really wicked Halo-themed Christmas present? Well, how about the best (and most expensive) Halo figure ever made, on sale for its lowest price ever…?

Halo ThreeA Toys Carter Figure in Packaging

When I saw the first ThreeA Toys Halo sixth scale figure go up for sale, there were a couple of reasons I didn’t order one. First was the fact that the character chosen was the Spartan Noble Squad leader, Commander Carter, perhaps my least favorite character in the whole Halo universe. The other reason was that this particular Halo action figure carried a price tag of $220 plus shipping. Well, I definitely don’t like Carter any more today than I did six months ago, but the other problem has cleared up a bit–the ThreeA Toys Halo Reach Carter 1/6 figure is now being clearance priced to a far more reasonable $109 shipped…

When I started collecting Halo action figures four years ago, I would have had a heart attack if I ever foresaw myself considering buying a single figure for over $100. But it’s a new world now, and after buying Hot Toys Iron Man figures for $300+ each and statues for even more than that, $220 for a super high-quality Halo 13.5″ action figure really doesn’t seem all that bad. And when that figure is marked down by 33% to under 150 bucks, well… that sounds like a deal from my crazed, distorted point of view!

Halo Reach Carter Sixth Scale Figure by ThreeA Toys Box Seriously, though–the ThreeA Toys Halo Reach Carter Spartan figure is absolutely amazing, and is almost certainly the single best Halo figure ever made by any company–ever. This was a limited release figure that’s likely to get very expensive on the aftermarket once the produced quantities sell through, so it’s definitely worth considering picking Carter up right now if you have any interest in building a ThreeA Toys Halo collection in the future. After all, you wouldn’t want that awesome ThreeA Emile 1/6th scale figure coming out next year to get lonely, would you?

ThreeA Toys Halo Carter Figure on SaleThe Halo 1/6 Commander Carter figure by 3A Toys is now on sale for around $147 with no tax and free shipping from Amazon. Prices are constantly fluctuating on Amazon, so the price could go back up at any time–make sure you ask someone you love to buy this for you for Christmas soon (or else buy it for yourself!) if you want it.

Thoughts on the ThreeA Toys Halo Reach Carter 1/6 figure, Halo fans? Is 1/3 off a big enough discount to get your attention, or are you hoping for even more of a discount?

  1. I would love to get this. Unfortunately Amazon.com won’t ship to Canada and you can’t even get the same stuff on Amazon.ca.

    • Are you sure about that, Didact? I know people in Canada who order figures from the America Amazon.com all the time, and the Amazon.com site itself has a page discussing their various shipping rates to Canada here– http://tinyurl.com/kxubhzk

  2. They must have been trying to thin their stock, they’ve only got a few left and they’re back to full price now. But I got mine at 50% off, thanks for the heads up!

    • For some crazy reason, Amazon created a second item page for Carter–one at full price and one at half price. They must be hoping some people really, really want to pay full price! LOL.

  3. Jeez you’re right. The one linked here is full price again and the other one is even cheaper…

    • I think Carter is a total screw-up as a leader who ineffectively leads all of his elite soldiers to their untimely and unnecessary deaths. In my eyes, in some ways, the Fall of Reach is Carter’s fault for being so poor at his job.
