CODE NUMBER LIST: Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series Blind Bags

The Halo Mega Bloks Summer 2014/Fall 2014 sets are now arriving in stores, and the era of super-articulated UNSC Troops is upon us! To celebrate the evolution of Halo Mega Bloks figures, the label for what would have been the “Halo Mega Bloks Series 10” figures blind bags has been changed to “Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series”. I’ve been dying to get my hands on these since I saw them at the MEGA Brands booth at the New York Toy Fair 2014, and now they’re finally out there! And with our hand Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series Code Number List, you can pull exactly the figure you’re looking for every single time!

Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series Released Full Case

When MEGA Brands started releasing Mega Bloks Halo mystery pack figure blind bags, I was fearful that the blind bag craze would soon end and we’d only get one or two series of super-fun blind-bagged Halo action figures. Thankfully, nothing could be further from the truth–the Halo Mega Bloks blind bags have been a huge hit with collectors (and kids!), and are now entering Series 10: Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series.

Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series Blind Bags

This is a very special series, as five of the figures in the set feature newly-enhanced articulation and removable armor for customizing! As only UNSC forces are getting super-articulated treatment (for now), none of the Covenant figures in Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series feature the new and improved upper-body articulation and removable armor.

Use the number printed on the side of the back of each blind bag to determine which Halo action figure is inside. And if your local stores don’t have these figures yet, don’t fret–plenty are available online for about the same price as you’d pay in the store for them.

CODE NUMBER LIST: Halo Mega Bloks Alpha Series Blind Bags — 59 Comments

  1. Are the codes the same in every country? Because I live in Canada and the codes don’t seem to there.

    • Good news! I live in Calgary and have every figure/bag, all the codes are the ones listed.

Though missing from the list today (could have sworn it was there yesterday) is A23044KF, which is a gummy smoke ODST with the Imperial Storm Grunt.

  2. This is awesome, thanks so much for these codes! I’m going to toys r us tomorow to get some of the new sets and I’ll definatly use this to get some figures that I want from the bags

  3. Hello, does anyone have any extra A21044KF and/or A23044KF so far? I would gladly take one or both off your hands. Please advise as time allows, Eric

    • Yes they can be found at Wal-Marts, Toys R Us, Target, etc. Just takes time.

      • I cant find them at Toys R’ Us or Wal-Mart. Haven’t checked Target yet though. Nothing at Wal-Mart and only series 9 at Toys R’ Us. Anywhere else I could find them?

        • Yeah, in Wisconsin at Fleet Farm, got all but 21-gummi red and 23- brown gummi ultra rare/mystery figs at opening day of Toy Land.

  4. Anywhere i can find these? I cant find them at Wal-Mart or Toys R’ Us. I’m checking Target tonight.

  5. I think I know why we’ve been seeing so little of Series 9 and Alpha in certain areas, and it’s not because they’re not out yet.

For the past two months I’ve been searching at my local Walmarts and Targets for the two series, but with very little luck. Today I asked a Walmart store clerk about this shortage and he told me why.

Apparently, when stores open very early in the morning, certain people go then and buy up all the blind bags in bulk if they’re available, leaving no traces that the bags were ever in the store. These people then sell them on eBay for 2, 3, or 4 times the store price, depending on their rarity, thus creating a monopoly.

To the people that participate in this unfair practice: I know that it’s probably too much to ask you to stop completely, given the opportunities and profits available. However, I will ask that you leave half of the blind bags that you find in the stores. It would also be unfair if you take all the chase, ultra rare, and rare figures and leave us with just the common figures, so please take the blind bags randomly and leave the rest for others.

I’m sure that others who can’t find the blind bags in stores would agree with me and appreciate it if you left us half of the blind bags in the stores.

    • Wow, you are complaining about people being unfair and that they should choose them randomly “”””””””””””””””””ON A SITE, WHERE THE CODES ARE POSTED”””””””””””””””””” How ironic is that!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. I hate idiots like that they take all of
the things for themselves and leave
none for others knowing that the
customers will no longer be able to
buy them at retail stores, the people
will then have to purchase them
online people like that are so
    inconsiderate

  7. my mom and i just found these at local walmart and she got a active camo right side stalker in the pack you have marked as the left side active camo.

    • Same here. I picked up an A18 and the Stalker’s Active Camo is on the right side not the left.

  8. Interestingly (and somewhat disappointingly) I just grabbed an A22044KF and ended up with nothing but a Storm Grunt, when I should have gotten the Gummy Jackal and Blue Enforcer. I don’t recall hearing of this happening, think it’s a one-time mislabel, or is there still a level of chance involved even if the code suggests it’s a Gummy?

  9. Yea I wish id gotten a storm grunt but I got series 9 sadly hope alpha comes out soon though

  10. It is strange, #24 is the same design as the package shows the brute, but the chest is lighter. #18 is the opposite of the picture but the chest is darker. So which one is the chase? I am confused much over this. Also Walmart, Fred Myers just got their first shipment since before Christmas last year, I am thinking they were wanting a buy back option since they get stuck with so much packages and set that no one wants to buy. But anyways I am happy that they are out now, and a very glad my wife was with me or I would have spent a but load of money getting everything they had for my collection! Lol Southwest Oregon!!

  11. Regarding the Right and Left side Brutes Does anyone else agree the codes are wrong up top? it seems the 1804 (right arm clear) is THE ULTRA rare as it is opposite of the photo on package. So the 2404 is the left arm as in the 8 main figures. Thanks for replies brute stalker owners

  12. I picked up a few of these today, I went with all spartans and I picked up the yellow MK6 but endrd up with a more orange than yellow armour with a pink visor not blue. Any ideas why?

  13. Yeah I got a school bus yellow Spartan with a pearl visor as well I’m going to look it up it may just ne how they are making the

    • Yes, I have found a few of the 74 series at Walgreens:

A11074KF – UNSC Yellow Spartan Mark VI
A16074KF – UNSC Blue Spartan Enforcer
A21074KF – Covenant Brute Stalker (Active Camo Right Side)
A22074KF – Gummy Bear Red Recruit Spartan with UNSC Green Spartan Scout

      • I found some 074 codes but only got 3 different ones(This is from Target in California-they had more but only got the ones with less repeated numbers):

14074 is UNSC Marine(He is not as metallic looking as in pics..chest vest and boots and forearms are more flat cream color instead of metallic gold)-Common

15074 UNSC Spartan Gungnir(Also not as metallic looking..more flat white…but I’m liking the extra pieces for armor)-Rare

21074 Covenant Brute Stalker Right Arm Clear–Is this the Chase?

We need the other codes…I’d like the Left Side Arm Clear Covenant Brute to have his mirror twin. Otherwise will have to do trial and error with future purchases.

No Gummies. I Assume they were numbers higher than 21…which there were none. 🙁

        • Got a 25074 Covenant Brute Stalker Left Arm Clear/Torso diagonal Clear/Colored)-Ultra Rare and got 17044 Brute Major-Rare, not Grunt as the guide above says. Strange I had a -044 ending code mixed in with the -074 ending code in the boxes I searched through. Was at a different Target. If I go back will see if there is a mix of -044 and -074.

  14. For the life of me guys I can’t figure out where you find the code on the packaging. Checking the codes listed in the article, I can’t find anywhere where it appears on the back of the packaging. Can anyone else?

    • Uh. It’s pretty obvious on the back along the right edge. It’s even stamped in white against the blue grey background this time. Previous series melded into the background and u needed to put it at an angle to see the stamp. Unless they did it differently overseas. I’m in the U.S.

  15. I just found a Covenant Brute Stalker with a code of A25074KF. I didn’t see this one on the list, and wanted to share with you all.

    • A25074 was the left arm, and A21074 was the right arm for the Covenant Brute Stalker. I just got them both.

      • I found both those at a Walgreens but I already had them so left them and saved myself some money. So someone can have em. Anyone know which is rarer or about the same?

  16. There’s a Target in Cincinnati that’s stocking 074’s now. A10074KF is the Spartan Scout, A18074KF is the Storm Grunt, and A24074KF is the Smoke Gummy Bear ODST with Storm Grunt.

  17. Awesome! I found the AC Red Recruit! I was also sad enough to get BOTH versions of the AC Brute.

  18. Just found at Walmart a Smoke Gummy ODST figure with a Covenant Grunt A23044KF…but I was missing one of his shoulder armor pieces. So I was so happy I got my first Gummy but soon was sad I had an incomplete figure. 🙁 So googled how to get a replacement part finally and sent for it online. However, since I was doing this…decided to finally try and get my missing leg for my series 9 flame marine but each time I put in the model number 96978 it comes up as series 4 and wants a part number. So confused… will try calling tomorrow as it is closed right now. Anyone know the model number? The bag says 96978…but is it under something else?

  19. Question, I see these gummy figures marked with an “and” so does that mean there are two in a pack? I ask because I am looking for the jackal and ODST. My Walmart carries the -44 and my target carries the -74. I made the mistake of not paying close attention when I was doing the codes. Anyone know the code for the Brute Captian in -74? Trying to work on my covenant forces, unfortunately I am late to the game lol.

  20. I have found a new code inside I found a right side camo brute stalker the code was A21074KF

  21. Hey guys, if any of you have a spare A21044KF or A22044KF, I’d like to buy them for a reasonable price. They’re the only packs I’m missing. Thanks! 😀
