Crimson Covenant Combat Unit and UNSC Desert Combat Unit Released in the US
The final Spring 2012 Halo Mega Bloks sets have finally been released to stores: the 96958 UNSC Desert Combat Unit and the 96959 Covenant Crimson Combat Unit. These were sighted at an Upstate New York Toys R Us, and there have been reports this last week of the sets starting to trickle in at retail across the United States. Both sets retail for $14.99 at Toys R Us, which is a bit above the MSRP or what you’d pay for the set online at stores like BigBadToyStore or Amazon.

In addition, this is the first time I’ve seen the Halo Mega Bloks Battlescape II in-stock on a physical retail store shelf. The set previously had only shown up online, where it is available on Amazon and the Toys R Us website.
