MEGA Brands has managed to surprise Halo Mega Bloks collectors again, this time with the release of a previously unannounced Halo 4 set, 97011 Warthog Resistance! This set features two green Spartan figures that resemble the Master Chief, an all-new Halo 4 version of the Elite Zealot, and a new-build Warthog based upon its appearance in Halo 4.

The Halo Mega Bloks Warthog Resistance 97011 set includes 285 pieces, and is expected to retail for $32-$35. The set has an extremely ingenious feature where you can combine pieces of this set with the Battlescape III 97029 to build a towering structure in the middle of the Battlescape!

MEGA Brands has not yet released any official images of this product, and thus far the Warthog Resistance set has only been sighted at one online retailer. A full review and photo gallery of Halo Mega Bloks 97011 will be posted as soon as I’ve gotten one of my own.
