Mega Halo Mega Bloks Prize Pack Giveaway Contest!

Being a Halo Toy News reader can be a bit of a double-edged sword for Halo Mega Bloks fans, as while I cover a huge variety of Halo toy releases each year, all that Halo goodness racks up into quite an expensive tab over the course of the year. But for once, Halo Toy News isn’t here just to show you some great Halo figures that you can spend your money on. Nope–we’re here to give you some great Halo Mega Bloks toys absolutely free!

Our friends over at Entertainment Earth have sent us a great Halo Mega Bloks Prize Pack, which we’re now going to be passing on to one lucky reader! Want that reader to be you? Read on…

Halo Mega Bloks Sets Prize Pack Giveaway

Entertainment Earth has been my go-to store for ordering McFarlane Halo figures and Halo high-end collectibles for years, but they also stock Halo Mega Bloks sets.

And in their graciousness, they’ve sent me a pretty loaded Mega Bloks Halo Prize Pack including seven different sets to give away here on Halo Toy News!

The contents of the pack–and my reviews of the sets it contains–are as follows:

Halo Mega Bloks Covenant Armory Pack II 96997 [Review]
Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Cobalt Combat Unit 97001 [Review]
Halo Mega Bloks Covenant Silver Combat Unit 97002
Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Siege Bike 97116 [Review]
Halo Mega Bloks UNSC C&C Console 97131 [Review]
Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Hangar Deck 97133 [Review]
Halo Mega Bloks Forerunner Terminal 97170 [Review]

In total, that’s 13 Halo Mega Bloks figures, plus the UNSC ONI REAP-X and the UNSC Booster Frame from “Halo Legends”! Not bad for a free prize, right?

Halo Mega Bloks Booster Frame Vehicle Set Review Summer 2013

While I was rummaging through my old reviews for these sets to help organize my thoughts on them, I was taken aback to realize that I don’t even own the Halo Mega Bloks Silver Combat Unit myself!

I had a half-moment of greed where I thought about hoarding the Mega Bloks Halo Silver Covenant Combat Unit for myself, but my good nature won out–the Covenant Silver Combat Unit (and all of the other sets that make up this awesome Halo Mega Bloks Prize Pack) will be given away via this contest here on Halo Toy News!

Halo Mega Bloks UNSC Siege Bike ReviewI briefly thought about doing some sort of “creative” contest where entrants would have to show off their collections or answer some sort of trivia questions, but I loathe having to be an impartial judge. So instead, I’m going to give away this whole pack of Halo Mega Bloks sets through good old-fashioned random selection!

a Rafflecopter giveaway

Just make sure to follow Halo Toy News on Facebook and use either of the other options in the widgets to be entered in the contest. I’ll have Rafflecopter randomly select the winning entrant shortly after the contest closes on September 17th, 2014. The winner will be announced on the Halo Toy News Facebook page, and must contact me with their address to send the prize pack to. Entrants who don’t follow Halo Toy News on Facebook are not eligible to win.

Mega Halo Mega Bloks Prize Pack Giveaway Contest! — 65 Comments

    • If your friend wins the contest and wants to give the sets to you, that’s A-OK with me, Storyteller!

      • I just learned something. My best friend doesn’t have one either. He said this was too cool to miss so he’s making one.

  1. Why is everything mega blocks? Why not expand the 5.5″ action figure range. At least they look realistic. Mega blocks is a poor mans lego.

    • Haters gonna hate but Mega Bloks have been able to compete with LEGO since they updated the blocks a few years back.

  2. My favorite Halo set is the UNSC Cryotube set that was modeled after the first level segment on Halo 4.

  3. I’ve got to say that my favorite set is the original Gremlin. I love that thing! I’d love to see a remake.

  4. Favourite set so far is probably the Seraph as I found it at a 75% discount, the building process was enjoyable, the final model looks great even without stickers and the figures are a great addition

  5. My favorite set would be the Revenate Attack. I like the bubble shield and the covenant barricades it comes with.

  6. My favorite set would probably have to be the original Scorpion tank. It was my first set and it rekindled my love of building things. πŸ˜€

  7. To be completely honest I don’t know if I could pick just a single favorite set, there are also many, and they are all awesome! But, if I had to choose one, it would have to be my Elephant set. It’s my biggest set and I had a lol of fun building it.

  8. My favorite halo mega like set ever released is one of the first sets ever released;the areal ambush. It’s my favorite because the hawks, other than the grizzlies are my favorite ‘special’ unit in halo wars.

  9. the UNSC Hornet vs. Covenant Vampire set, because I’m a sucker for VTOL craft (and it had an enemy included)

  10. I’m going to have to go with the new UNSC Wombat Recon Drone. I’ve always been a huge fan of H3: ODST, and the new articulation makes this the best ODST to date. Of course, with more game-accurate coloring, future releases of the new figure might change that…

  11. Favorite set is probably the Warthog Resistance because it`s an awesome Warthog with great figures

  12. My favorite set is probably also my very first set: EVA’s Last Stand. There’s just something magical I love about that set…and the two included Hunters are just plain awesome!

  13. I enjoy the building process more than anything, so I must say I prefer the Forward Unto Dawn over any other set. (The Mammoth is a close second).

  14. Favorite set is the Mammoth. I don’t yet own it, but I love that they made it!

  15. Favourite Set is definately the High Ground Wall as it was just such good value at Β£29.99 and I got 2 Blue Spartan-II Mark IVs with mine but the AC EVA only came with one arm πŸ™

  16. My favorite sets have to be the weapons packs.

I really don’t like how the weapons are one solid color in the regular sets or in the blind bagged figures. However, the weapons in the weapon packs are painted. Even if it’s all the silver on the Assault Rifle or the tiny bits of orange on the Suppressor, that paint really makes the weapons look all the more better.

  17. My favorite set is EVA’s Last Stand, I just love how poseable the Hunters are and the run-down look of the Warthog is awesome.

  18. i love this website always have and now they have a contest lol i usally use it for codes i wish they put the mystery codes though

  19. My favorite set is the Covenant Shade Turret, it was the first set i got and i still have it on display!
