Halo 4 Series 2 isn’t due out from McFarlane Toys for at least four more months, but today I got a pretty great surprise in my inbox: an E-Mail from reader Capsule_x_Nike with a ton of high-resolution photos attached and impressions of the McFarlane Halo 4 Series 2 Spartan Scout figure prototype! “My impressions…. It’s going to be a great figure. I can envision it painted up in the orange they’ve chosen for it and it will probably be the best Halo 4 Spartan to date.”

 “His stomach has ‘Spartan triclops’ written on it, which is weird because the CIO , is in fact a triclops, and that’s what’s written on his back. I think that perhaps his upper torso and lower abdomen were swapped , because there is no way that somebody could have written the word “Spartan” on his stomach without detaching the two halves. It’s so far up there you can barely see it. So maybe the prototype I got is in fact a hybrid of the two figures.”
