CODE NUMBER LIST: Halo Mega Bloks Series 1 Mystery Packs Blind Bags

This is where it all began–Halo Mega Bloks Mystery Packs Series 1 96870! I know it may be hard to reconcile in your minds, but there weren’t always Mega Bloks Halo blind bags available. No, there was a dark age when you had to buy vehicles for $10-$50 any time you wanted a new Halo Mega Bloks figure. But the visionaries at MEGA Brands, inspired by other blind-bagging toy lines, revolutionized Halo Mega Bloks when they unleashed Halo Mega Bloks Series 1.

As groundbreaking as it was, Halo Mega Bloks Mystery Packs Series 1 isn’t a particularly exciting one–it includes many figures that aren’t exactly in demand–like purple Elites on the old mold and generic Marines and Flamethrower Marines.

Even so, Halo Mega Bloks Figures Series 1 has a few real gems within. The set contains a great-looking green Elite Combat figure, which is the only green Sangheili Mega Bloks figure that MEGA Brands has released to date. In addition, Series 1 includes a blue Spartan Hayabusa–one of very few color variations released in the Hayabusa armor permutation. A common generic green Spartan Mark VI figure is included, which is great for collectors who just wanted a cheap “Master Chief” lookalike.

But perhaps most compelling is that the ultra-rare figure in this set is an Active Camo Spartan Mark VI. If you want to recreate the Halo Trilogy in Mega Bloks, this set is the only place where you can get an Active Camo Spartan that looks like the Master Chief! Because of the importance and scarcity of this figure, the Halo Mega Bloks Series 1 Active Camo Spartan Mark VI figure usually sells for $40-$50 alone on the aftermarket, making it one of the most expensive and sought-after Halo Mega Bloks figures.

Believe it or not, some stores still have remnants of this set available! If you get lucky enough to find any in stores, the Halo Mega Bloks Series 1 Mystery Packs codes are below…

  1. The active Camo Spartan, there was an original before the first blind pack series. It had a shotgun and only 100 were made in the world. It’s around $400-$500 so if you got one you are one of the luckiest people in the world.
