McFarlane Toys Halo 4 Series 3 and Halo Micro Ops Series 3 News

Halo 4 Storm Elite Screenshot SangheiliIt seems a little bizarre, seeing as how we haven’t even seen official photos of any kind yet for Halo 4 Series 2 and Halo Micro Ops Series 2 by McFarlane Toys, but Series 3 news for both lines is now upon us! Toy retailers are now starting to receive information regarding the lineups for both the Halo 4 Series 3 action figures and the Halo Micro Ops Series 3 sets.

None of this information is official at this time, but I’ve seen enough verified reports over the years to know that these are almost certainly the legitimate lineups for McFarlane Halo 4 Series 3 and Halo Micro Ops Series 3 (provided Micro Ops doesn’t get canned before Series 3, which is a serious possibility).

Remember, while this is the list of products being sent to retailers, anything can and possibly will change up until McFarlane Toys officially confirms the assortments themselves (and sometimes even after that).

The 2013 Halo McFarlane Toys series which have recently been uncovered are as follows–

Halo 4 Series 3 Action Figures:
UNSC Spartan Recon (color unknown)
UNSC Spartan EOD (color unknown)
Covenant Imperial Grunt
Covenant Storm Elite
Promethean Alpha Crawler
Master Chief

Halo 4 Series 3 Three-Pack:
UNSC Spartan Majestic Team

Halo Micro Ops Series 3 Small-Carded Sets:
UNSC Warthog and 2 Promethean Crawlers
Covenant Revenant
Covenant Hunter Infantry Team

Halo Micro Ops Series 3 Large-Carded Sets:
UNSC Hornet
Covenant Wraith Tank

Halo 4 Imperial Grunt Screenshot Unggoy If there are going to be any playset-like environments released as part of the third wave of Halo Micro Ops, no information is known about those sets at this time. It’s very possible the diorama-like sets will be cancelled, as the High Ground boxed sets from Halo Micro Ops Series 1 have sold exceedingly poorly at retail thus far.

Halo 4 Series 3 is scheduled to tentatively be released in May 2013. Halo Micro Ops Series 3 is likewise estimated to be released in May 2013. We’ll post more news and photos on these assortments as additional information comes to light.

McFarlane Toys Halo 4 Series 3 and Halo Micro Ops Series 3 News — 25 Comments

  1. It seems strange that the three pack is Majestic team because they have 5 members. I guess leaving out DeMarco makes sense because we already have a blue Spartan Soldier and Thorne has less interesting armor than the other members. If that recon Spartan is blue then it could be Madsen so Thorne might be in the three pack. Anyway if this is the real line-up then I’m pretty excited.

  2. Loving the lineup…until the end. Seriously, why in the world is master chief in here again?! XD

  3. I really hope we see a McFarlane warthog, not the $60 die cast Jada Toys one. But, if worst comes to worst, I’ll have to pick it up. I also hope to see a Palmer figure in the near future, as well as that falcon and banshee they never released. But I think the biggest let down about the Halo 4 figures is the lack of customization. That is one of the biggest things that makes the reach and Halo 3 figures so much better than than the halo 4 Spartans. .

  4. Its a bit odd that a reco figure would come out so early because in the Halo waves before, the recon figures came out in series 6

  5. i hope the elite is the normal blue one because i would like to army build and have the zealot as the squad leader.

  6. I know this is a rather old post, but I wanted to comment on it. While there is no hope for the Micro Ops line to continue, I’m really hoping that the list of Halo 4 figures turns out to be true. Though I have to wonder what they could do to MC to warrant yet another release of him. Add me to the list of people who want Thorne to be in the 3-pack. I have the Limited Edition copy of Halo 4, which comes with a nice big blueprint of his armor, so it would be nice to have a figure of him to display next to it.

Oh, and not to sound like a jerk, but that’s not the Elite Storm you have pictured there, that’s an Elite Warrior…

  7. Please answer do any of you guys think there will be more series of halo 4 figures including every single elite grunt and jackal

    • At this point I’m not expecting anything past series 2. That said, I would love to see another three waves. As for the Covenant variants, having them all available would be nice, but I wouldn’t count on all of them getting made.

Personally I’m more interested in seeing more named characters made.

  8. I don’t think series 3 is true because it would say it on mcfarlane.com and the storm elite is the blue low ranked one right

  9. Hmmm, now that series 2 is far over, people will be looking onto news for series 3 but so far nothing. I sincerly hope they do carry on with this line as I’m hoping to get all the Elites and on that topic I see there’s Elite discussion here.
Mcfarane actually missed on the Field Marshall armour for the Reach Elites so not all were made. However in HALO 4 there are only campaign Elites so it’ll just be the 5 (Storm, Ranger, Warrior, Commander, Zealot) in their singular colour. Mcfarlane does have a habit of splurging out on tons of Spartans of the same armour but just different colour.
I doubt they’ve stopped as rights to this line have spread to NECA and a few others but Mcfarlane has chosen to keep the rights to the 5″ line so I guess they still want to carry on.

  10. I really hope McFarlane decides to keep on making these figures. I’ve been collecting since their Halo 3 lines and will continue to collect. Right now, McFarlane seems to admire their Assassins Creed and Walking Dead figures more. Also, Todd did mention that he and his team were working on the Halo 4 Resin statue for a pretty long time.

  11. if they dont make a custom jul mdama because his armor is the zealot armor except blue and other types of attachments and gek is just a normal storm elite so if they make a storm elite figure just take off the helmet and there mdama and gek

  12. Is the Halo 4 line finished? I mean, Halo 5 was already confirmed and is most likely finished at this point…so why would McFarlane continue with the Halo 4 line if Halo 5 will probably be out this year?

  13. I am pretty excited for that NECA 18 inch master chief, but (if the line continues) I would like to see Mcfarlane make some Halo 4 marines. I think they are scared to do regular humans because Keyes failed as well as those Reach Army Trooper 2 packs (as you can see by them canceling Lasky :(. Although I thought the character design was much better for reach, army building marines is still fun (as long as they can hold an assault rifle 2-handed!)

  14. I think they shoulkd make a unique spartan like the Prefect that was interesting to see in the game, but why master cheif again lel
